A LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR

After spending over 30 years in the dance studio and on the stage, I've had the privilege of training with some of the best instructors and coaches in the world. Among my favorite teachers/mentors: Christina Noel, Carol Roderick, Nadia Tikanova, Marat Daukayev, Patricia Neary, Christopher Wheeldon, Sergei Kozadeyev, Martin Fredmann and Meelis Pakri. From each experience I gained different, wonderful techniques that helped me become the dancer I am.

As my teaching career evolved over the last 10 years, I have fully utilized all the wisdom that was imparted to me. My teaching is based on the famed Vaganova (Russian) methodology. With the vast experiences I've had coupled with my warm, caring nature, I create a wonderful environment for dancers to thrive. I have been humbled by the amazing artists that have come into my life, they continue to broaden my experiences and views. I am excited to collaborate with a few of them in this venture of a new school in Colorado where we can inspire excellence.

It is essential to first have the highest quality instruction from experienced professionals who understand how to quide, mentor and encourage dancers. Whether these young dancers are training to become professionals for the stage or strive towards other goals, our students learn the values of discipline, character building and determination to enhance their future careers and lives. It is my honor to teach and inspire every student that enters the doors of Classic Dance Academy.
