We offer 2 annual performance opportunities during the school year; a small production of "The Nutcracker" and our annual student showcase "A Classic Performance". Details on each are below. We believe the performances provide incredible growth opportunities for every dancer at every age. The courage to get on stage in front of an audience grows confidence and the chance to build and show their individual artistry. We always maintain our class training schedule during productions, not allowing the rigors of the performance to interfere with our technical training. Fees and rehearsals vary based on the needs of the production. All participation is OPTIONAL.
We are excited to offer this traditional classic. Students must be registered with CDA throughout the production and are accepted by audition only, auditions Saturday September 8th. Rehearsals are Friday nights & Saturday afternoons. The participation fee varies from $100-$200 based on how many roles you are cast/participate in. Performances held in early December, location TBA. Tickets range from $12-$15. •BRAVO! CDA's 2011 The Nutcracker is honored to receive an incredible review by Don Atwood with World Dance Reviews click here to view
