Lindsey King grew up in Colorado and began her dance training as a company member at Cherry Creek Dance where she studied for 7 years under many instructors including Tami Bing and Michelle Dolighan-Rodenbeck. Throughout this time, she was also involved in gymnastics and competitive cheerleading, locally and nationally. One of Ms. King's favorite experiences growing up was recieving specialized training attending regional and national conventions and competitions. She was also an inaugural dancer for 2 seasons with the Academy of Colorado Ballet's performing and competing company formerly known as Aspirations.

Ms King left the competitive dance world at the end of her Junior year of high school when she was elected captain of her Varsity Poms Dance Team at ThunderRidge High School. She has a well rounded background including Varsity Cheerleading, which she participated in her freshman and sophomore years, and her final 2 years of high school she was selected to be a member of her school dance team where she excelled as a leader.

Currenly, Ms King is attending Metro State with a major in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. She is passionate about working with children and knows the importance of helping each child identify and reach their full potential. Her love for children and teaching together with great knowledge and devotion to dance, she is continually motivated to be a positive role model and strives to influence to each student she works with.
